Weekly Classes & Wisdom Circles

I am based in Myrtle Beach, SC and have been teaching yoga and gathering community here for close to 20 years. There is always a space for you in our circle. I look forward to seeing you in a yoga or Qoya class soon! If you are interested in hosting me at your studio please shoot me a note here and I would love to co-create something amazing together for your community.

Qoya is AMAZING! I absolutely love the sensual dance warm up! I love being able to be vulnerable and feel totally safe to show my true self in front of other women I may not even know. I know there is a  chance they will understand or be able to relate with me/(share something in common with me). I love picking a card and knowing that it was destined for me! I love being able to open up and dance freely as if no one is looking yet feeling a bit shy and confident all at once and knowing I can be myself. I love how Jess inspires you to think and dig deep within your soul for truths/answers that you can share or ponder on and take away with you. It’s an all around soul lifting, delicious enchilada!

Jess is a tuning fork for spirit. I experience alignment and connection in every class. She helps you access places you can’t reach on your own. She gives you food for thought in a gentle and loving way. She even gives you spiritual trinkets to inspire your journey, such as crystals, feathers, and goddess cards.  I look forward to class each week to see what messages I will receive!

Jessica and Qoya class. In few words it has been the best release I’ve got in a long time. It’s a hurricane of positive energy and happiness. Unconditional freedom and honesty. First of all Jessica make everyone feel very comfortable in the class. Usually in the end of the Qoya session we don’t want to leave and trying to stay as long as possible. It’s so rare our days when people can be open and real. But Jessica creates the unique atmosphere in her classes so women are not afraid or ashamed. She knows how to make me feel special, how to remind me of who I am. Very often I leave her class with tears in my eyes but only because I’m happy and I found answers which I was Searching for for a long time. Thank you Jessica. Namaskar

Qoya

When: Saturdays 5:00-6:30

Where: Yoga in Common, Myrtle Beach SC

What is Qoya?
Qoya is a movement system based on the idea that through movement, we remember.
We remember our essence is wise, wild, and free.
Wise, wild and free also draw reference to the movement forms that we practice:

Wise: the wisdom of yoga
Wild: the creative expression in dance
Free: expanding our capacity to enjoy our bodies through sensual movement
In every Qoya class, you experience 13 core components expressing a unique theme for the day
that supports the embodiment of your feminine essence.
You also engage in ritual, pilgrimage, and community connections to open your heart, mind, and spirit.

You slow down and feel. You sweat. You play and have fun!

Your perspective shifts from going through the motions to savoring life as sacred.

You find the answers you seek in your body, and as well as the support to follow them.

In Qoya, imagine there is no way you can do it wrong
and the way you know you're doing it right is when it feels good.
What if your life could follow the same rule?
(Spoiler alert: it can!)
